Trane® Customers Share Best Practices to Achieve Optimal Performance with Intelligent Buildings at BOMA 2017

Showcasing new wireless and enterprise-wide connected building technology to improve energy and operational efficiency

Nashville, Tenn., June 26, 2017 – Trane®, a leading global provider of indoor comfort systems and services and a brand of Ingersoll Rand, will attend and sponsor the 2017 Building Owners and Managers Association’s (BOMA) International Annual Conference on June 24-27. Connected buildings have the potential to improve energy efficiency and decrease operation costs by harnessing data to bring value and outcomes to customers. Working with four commercial customers, Trane will educate building owners and facility managers on how they can achieve optimal building performance with connected building technology and solutions.

“Buildings are an important component of our society and they impact the sustainability of our world,” said Dave Molin, vice president of controls for Trane North America and EMEA. “By going beyond the building and leveraging data and insights with digitally driven solutions, building owners will have the precise, measurable, and digital control they need to make their buildings spaces where people can thrive.”

Keri Taylor, strategic market leader of commercial real estate for Trane will facilitate a panel discussion featuring C-suite leaders from Trane customers, including Parkway Properties, Kennedy Wilson, Transwestern and Equity ICI Real Estate Services, Inc. Attendees will hear real-life examples and first-hand knowledge from their peers as they share how they improved the performance of their buildings through various smart initiatives. The panel will take place on Tuesday, June 27 at 2:15 p.m. CST.

BOMA Leadership Academy, Saturday, June 24, 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. CST –
Educational session pairing BOMA members and fellows together to foster leadership within BOMA International. Trane’s Keri Taylor will welcome and provide opening remarks.
Women’s Education Session & Networking Breakfast, Tuesday, June 27, 8:00 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. CST– This networking breakfast will feature a presentation from author Sara Laschever on “Women and the Power of Negotiation.” Trane’s Holly Paeper will provide opening remarks and introduce the speaker.
Trane will be also be showcasing new connected building products and service offerings at BOMA 2017, including the newly introduced Trane Tracer® Ensemble™ building management system and Trane Air-Fi® CO2 Wireless System, which can optimize building performance and enable more efficient building management.
